| The tour up to Mt. Hoher Kasten is a challenging but rewarding tour. Bernd, Guido, Thorsten and myself did this hike on 22nd of July 2001. Very scenic with lots of greenery in Summer. I can recommend this hike very strongly - especially when the weather plays along! The valley behind the Hoher Kasten is the river Rhine Valley, separating Switzerland from Austria and Liechtenstein.
