| The Zamser Valley is located in the Zillertal Alps in the southern part of the Austrian State of Tirol beside the Italian border. The Zillertal is better known for its Wintersport than summer activities, but as the photos show, this is also a very attractive region in summer / autumn too. The Schlegeis Glacier at the start of the Valley, has receeded at a fast pace over the past century, but still remains one of the most scenic parts of the valley.
